Ms. London's Bilingual Academy & Ms. London
Ms. London’s Bilingual Academy (MLBA) is an EEC-certified, diverse family childcare (License #9171693) including infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten programs in a nurturing English–Chinese bilingual environment.
Led by Ms. London, a bilingual educator herself, and supported by a team of English and Spanish teachers, MLBA offers children an immersive language environment in English, Mandarin Chinese, and basic Spanish throughout their daily routines and learning experiences. This natural, immersive approach helps children develop early language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in communication.
At MLBA, our team believes every child is capable, curious, and full of potential. Our bilingual program thoughtfully blends Montessori and Reggio Emilia educational philosophies, honoring the idea that children learn best when they are respected as individuals and encouraged to explore at their own pace. In our mixed-age classroom, children naturally learn from one another, build empathy, and develop confidence through collaboration and shared discovery.
Our days are rich with meaningful experiences. Children enjoy abundant reading time and a balanced rhythm of activities, including circle time, individual learning, music, dance, movement, art, painting, crafting, baking, outdoor play, and quiet reflection. We intentionally weave the S.T.E.A.M. approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) throughout the day, inviting children to explore materials, ask questions, experiment, and think creatively.
Above all, MLBA provides a peaceful, caring, child-led environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported as they grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
About Ms. London
MLBA is founded and led by London Baofang Zhang (Ms. London)—an experienced educator, artist, entrepreneur, devoted mother, and lifelong learner. With academic backgrounds in MBA from Cambridge College, MFA from Shanghai Theatre Academy, Education as an art teacher, and a deep passion for early childhood development, Ms. London brings creativity, cultural richness, and intentional learning into every aspect of the program.
As a self-driven educator and entrepreneur, Ms. London has never stopped learning. Throughout her years of her career in Early Childhood Education, she has continued to enrich her professional knowledge by taking Early Childhood Education courses through the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She thoughtfully applies this knowledge to the daily curriculum, teaching practices, and overall operations at MLBA.
As a bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese speaker, with knowledge of Cantonese, Ms. London is proud to support children in developing strong language skills while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
